While working at a large tech company, I saw two things clearly: Recurring services mean recurring revenue, and the home services space was years behind every other market when it came to technology. Many companies didn't even have websites.

My forte is technology, and I saw a massive opportunity in a space where that could be a real differentiator. So in November 2021, I built a simple website, designed a logo, and got my first call on Christmas Day for a same-day cleaning. I had never cleaned professionally in my life. I went on to do about 50 to 60 cleanings myself with a friend just to learn everything, and the business grew from there.

About a year and a half in, my mom joined me in Miami, and that's when we really started to scale. She brought the operational strength I didn't have—managing crew members, project managers, and sales reps— while I focused on the technology infrastructure. Today, we're one of the top-ranked cleaning services in Miami, with close to 10,000 cleanings under our belt and nearly 45 people on our team.

We're not in the business of cleaning. We're in the business of trust. Everything we build—our website, our business profile, our client communications—is designed to increase trust before we ever show up at someone’s door. A year and a half ago, we started getting serious about how Google AI could help us deliver on that.

Gemini models are embedded throughout our operating system, which we built on top of Google Cloud. One of our most powerful use cases is provider matching.

When you have 40 providers, each with their own strengths, specialties, and logistics, there's no way to hold all of that in your head. So when a new lead comes in, we use Gemini to cross-reference our entire provider database and rank the best matches for that specific job. What would take us hours to figure out manually, Gemini does almost instantly.

We also use Gemini throughout the entire cleaning lifecycle to make sure there are zero gaps in communication, from the personalized arrival window text that goes out the night before to the post-service recap. There are about 12 steps per cleaning. Multiply that by 19 cleanings in a day and you have 240 things that have to happen. Gemini makes that manageable.

We've probably sent hundreds of thousands of texts over the lifetime of this company. Without help from Gemini, getting to 15 or 20 cleanings a day would be a headache. It's been key for us to 2x what we did the year before.

We also use Gemini to help with call coaching where Gemini flags specific suggestions for improvement so our team keeps getting better. And when we respond to user reviews on Google, we use Gemini to help draft tailored replies.

Everyone on our team uses Gemini because we believe it's our responsibility to make sure they know how to use AI. We would be hindering their career progress by an order of magnitude if we weren’t AI-first. But it always goes hand in hand with the human touch. There's a human in the loop at every step. AI helps our team get more done, but it doesn't replace the heart that goes into every cleaning.

Our goal has always been to return peace of mind to every home we clean. The technology just lets us do that at a scale I never could have imagined when I got that first call on Christmas Day. And eventually, I want to take everything we've learned and help other small businesses adopt AI and expand in ways they never thought possible.
