At Google, we’re excited about the opportunities AI will create for people and businesses of all sizes, but we know unlocking AI’s economic potential in the Asia Pacific region won’t happen automatically. Across the region, industries, government, and society need to continue to work together to deploy a deliberate strategy that ensures everyone can fully benefit from the opportunities of AI.

We can realise the potential of AI by adopting an enabling policy agenda that:

  2. Develops a thoughtful AI workforce strategy
  3. Promotes widespread AI adoption

The AI Opportunity across the Asia Pacific region

Through our AI Opportunity Agenda initiative, we have identified a three-part enabling agenda that supports the effective deployment of AI in the public and private sector, ensuring it benefits and is useful to as broad a range of people as possible.
